Anna Liceica
Born in Bucharest, Romania, she studied at the National Ballet School during which time she received the first place in Romania's National Ballet Competition. She went on to study in Los Angeles with Yvonne Mounsey at the Westside School of Ballet, after which she received a full scholarship at the School of American Ballet in New York where she won the Mae L. Wein Award for Outstanding Promise. She then was invited to join the New York City Ballet where she danced from 1992 until 1996 after which she joined the American Ballet Theater. She performed in all the great classics throughout the world, and was also awarded the Diagilev Award and the Silver Medal at the third Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Competition as well as The Viewers' Choice Award at the Maya Plisetskaya International Ballet Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia. She was promoted to soloist with the American Ballet Theater in year 2000. Since then, she gave numerous performances throughout the United States, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Japan, China, Spain, Brazil, Russia, France, with the American Ballet Theater, and as a Guest Artist with other companies abroad. Her repertory includes all great classics and contemporary masters, and her dance partners include Gennadi Saveliev, Marcelo Gomes, Ethan Stiefel, Damian Woetzel, Angel Corella, Nilas Martins, Sebastien Marcovici, Sasha Radetsky, and Vitali Krauchenka.

Jin Qiu Wang started his dance training at the age of eleven, performing at the age of thirteen. He was invited to perform at the Chinese National Festival in Beijing and was featured in a program for the China Central Television (CCTV). Jin Qiu has studied modern, ballet, and jazz. He has also won many prestigious awards in China. At seventeen, he joined the Chinese National Dance Company where he performed in China, Australia, Malaysia, and Germany. Recently he has performed in Kansas, Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Lincoln Center. He chose New York because he loved how the many cultures coexisted together in a peaceful yet dynamic way.
Past Dancers
Anja Epperlein, originally from Germany, got her BA in dance and dance pedagogics from the German university of dance Palucca Schule Dresden. She has performed among others with the dance company Senslabor from Austria, the German dance company shot AG, the German choreographers Esther Schneider and Karen Schoenemann, the swiss choreographer Nicole Meier. Anja came to New York in summer 2005 just for three weeks of vacation, but decided to stay longer after she met Natasa Trifan Performance Group and is very thankful for working together with this wonderful company.
Andrei Garzon. Born in Holyoke, MA, he grew up in Colombia, where he studied Dance and Anthropology. He has danced for international companies from Colombia, Venezuela, Spain and Switzerland. In the US he has performed for Jeremy Nelson, Luis Lara, Christopher Williams and for the Bessie Schönberg residency at The YARD in Martha’s Vineyard, MA; dancing pieces by Jose Navarrete and Sabrena Berryman.
Saar Harari. Saar was born in Israel and danced in the professional dance school of Bat Dor in Tel Aviv. Later, he become a leading dancer for the Noa Dar, Liat Dror and Nir Ben-gal dance companies touring in Europe, Japan and the United States. In New York City he has performed with other companies at the Dance Theater Workshop, the Gene Frankel Theater, the Flea Theater, the Joyce SoHo and the Theater For The New City.
Rossella Fusco was born in Italy. In New York City she danced for many dance companies.
Hope Davis. At an early age, Hope Davis’ father took her for dance class and ice cream. She still enjoys both. Hope has performed with Susan Vencl, Terri and Oliver Steele, Jody Oberfelder and currently dances for Judith Moss, Ellen Cornfield and Laura Flowers. She is happy to be performing here today
with Natasa Trifan and her wonderful dancers. Hope’s
favorite flavor is orange custard chocolate chip.
Erin Hunter recently moved from the Baltimore/Washington area, where she danced with W. Artists Contemporary Ballet. Now performing and teaching primarily in NYC, Erin has performed internationally at La Scala Opera (West Side Story) and nationally in many productions - her favorite being the national tour of A Chorus Line (Kristine). She has had the honor of dancing repertory by Alvin Ailey, Colin Connor, Jerome Robbins, & Anna Sokolow among others. Erin holds degrees from Bucknell and New York University.
